I am a social and political philosopher trained in the European continental tradition.

I am interested in how theories of time, perception, and language help us understand the nature and limits of political action and social transformation.

My work engages with major figures such as Kant, Hegel, Marx, Heidegger, Arendt, Deleuze, and Agamben, while also spotlighting the contributions of lesser-known and emergent thinkers such as Reiner Schürmann, Furio Jesi, Elsa Dorlin, Gustav Guillaume, Fred Moten, Kristin Ross, Frank B. Wilderson III, and Grégoire Chamayou.

My recent publications have appeared in Journal of Italian Philosophy, Theory & Event, Pólemos, Philosophy Today, and South Atlantic Quarterly.

I hold a Ph.D. in Philosophy from DePaul University, and currently teach in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at North Central College.
